Ethics Directive

Talent Desk

Paid work · disclosed

This is the placement side of the business, and it is run by Sentient Staff, our separate talent partner, precisely so the register never touches it. Walled off on purpose: nothing here rates you, ranks you, or lists you anywhere public.

Find a job

The talent desk.

Ethics Directive spends its days reading the competence of AI ethicists. Now and then an employer asks Sentient Staff, our talent partner, to find them one with real, evidenced competence. If you want to be considered when that happens, you can put yourself forward here, on your own terms.

01

You come to us

Nobody is entered by taking the gap report. There is no funnel from your assessment to this desk. You are here because you chose to be, and you can leave whenever you like.

02

The employer pays

The placement fee is paid by the organisation doing the hiring, at a standard rate, to Sentient Staff. It costs you nothing, ever, and it does not change what Ethics Directive tells that employer about the market.

03

Your profile stays yours

We never publish a ranking of people, and we never pass your details to an employer without asking you first, for that specific role. One introduction, one consent.

What we will not do

  • We will not treat your gap report as an application. It is a private mirror, and it stays that way unless you separately tell us otherwise.
  • We will not sell a list of candidates, publish a leaderboard, or rank one practitioner above another in public.
  • We will not let the talent desk lean on the register. If we have placed someone at an organisation, and we later rate a credential attached to it, we say so on the rating.

Put yourself forward

Tell us where to reach you and roughly what you are after. We hold it quietly, and we get in touch only when something fits. No newsletter, no drip, no sharing.

You can ask us to delete everything at any time, and we will, without argument.

Noted, and held quietly at Sentient Staff. We will be in touch only when a role genuinely fits. Nothing has been shared with anyone.

Where do you actually stand?

Sixteen questions, six minutes. You rate yourself on each competence area, from “not yet” to “I could evidence this to an assessor”. We hand back a profile, your strongest ground, and the gaps worth closing first. Nothing is stored unless you ask us to send it.
